Congrats...Cat 2 IS the top. I think Cat 1 is just if your representing the "national" team so basically no difference. Spent too many years Cat 3 b/4 I hung it up so making that jump says a lot about your dedication and talent. It is worth at least 2 beers on the house.

Huh? You mean no difference in that cat1' and 2's tend to race together most of the time, right?

I'll tell you there is a huge developmental difference between a decent cat1 and a regular Joe cat2. That's why there are thousands of cat2's and only a few hundred cat1's.

Just like there is a huge difference between me and the ProTour guys.
