I make one myself (if you have the 11-21/23 and a 12-25 its easy...use them regularly and if you need swap out, change the 11 for the 16) and had the shop put one on a bike I was purchasing from them. Spend enough money and a shop will be happy to work with you.

Any way, 53/39 x 11-23 for most races.

I did swap the cassette for Snake Alley and use a 12-25. I can't wait to return to Burlington next year for my second trip to Snake Alley

Speaking of Snake Alley (and a minor thread hijack) I wish it was a little closer to RAGBRAI so I wouldn't have to finagle two trips back home. Kinda hard to justify a 1000 mile drive for one race

I have 50/34, and will use 11-23 or 11-25 or 11-27 depending on the course. I always drive the course before the race so I know the terrain and route and hills!

53/39....11/23.....works for all my road races with up to 4,000' of climbing.
