Please get some proper pics w/ the fulcrums. I love the bare carbon weave, that is a hot frame.

Quick shot from the maiden ride on my new rig. I'm liking it; very stiff and responsive, much more so than my Calfee. Frame has the tapered steerer with 1.5" lower bearing, BB30 bottom bracket, and weighed 910 grams with the BB30 bearings installed. $750 for the frameset, and I also bought an SL-K compact BB30 crank that I can swap in for mountain stuff. It's built up with DA10 shifters and cranks, DA 9 derailleurs, ZG brakes, Thomson setback post, a Hed carbon fiber saddle (jury's still out on that one).
15 lbs. 11 oz. as shown with the Bikesdirect carbon tubulars, about $1500 total. Yes, I came home and cut the steerer..

Thanks for the kind words guys - I'm incredibly happy with it so far, though I want to upgrade the crankset (it's a basic TruVativ Rouleur ) to something lighter ... not sure what though. The rest of the drivetrain is Ultegra 6600, so maybe I'll match the crank as well.

Want me to see if the guy who backed over my Orca with his truck is available to do the same to your Trek?

Mid-life crisis. This whole broken Trek thing has me half losing my mind. What am I going to do? Why are we here? Why doesn't anyone in the 41 like me? WHAAAA!!!
Just wait until I get the frame pump on it and the 32h tandem wheel.
This bike is the next evolution of Ex's crit bike, the Aloha from last year, and was developed with insight from Dominguez from US crit racing. I think it's going to feel pretty good in the kilo things.
