+1 on all of it.

IMO, 'looking pro' is good for little, except getting called a poser on the Internet. Better to not look the part, and just surprise people. That bike looks very cool though! Good luck with your season.

By "season" I mean showing up to races in a pro team's kit and leaning over my very expensive bike with 7" of saddle drop; scoffing at the cat 5's and 4's while pretending to warm up for the p123 then casually slinking off to my car like a phantom when the race starts.

It's more or less fool proof, all the benefits of looking p/cat 1 with none of this ridiculous Jens-ing hard work.

Made some changes to mine (including bar tape ). About 16 pounds now. Have some carbon handlebars on the way that should drop it to sub 16. Not sure what it is about the Kinlin/Formula wheels but they roll faster than my Volants:

I had the cranks laying around. Cranks are pretty much compatible with all groups. These are too good not to use 'em. I'm going to switch over to Sram shifters and RD though at some point.

What seat is that? Looks pretty neat. Digging the downward curve in the middle.

Serotta HSG race bike (repeat post from other thread)

Someone suggested I would be better off posting this in this thread vs the other one so here goes.

My new birthday race bike. Serotta HSG Carbon - Ready custom. 57 cm.

Ultegra crank in hopes of better front shifting thank my FSA SLK crank.

Mostly Force but used my old red rear and shifters.

Zipp 606 with Powertap from last season for race wheels.

Have no idea what it weighs.

Trying the "tuxedo" look with the white hoods but might switch to black if too much hassle to keep clean.

This thing looks crazy; between the 3 foot bar drop and the seat it!

it's a 60cm frame. I have long arms and legs so I look fairly normal on it even with 19cm drop.
