Ninjaman: love the bikes. And I heartily approve of your garage door paint color.

Those are my old pedals from the daily rider, I'll be getting new ATACs for this bike but still MTB so I can maintain consistent cleats across all the bikes.

Jrennie, I consider myself a connoseiur of white brake hoods, and those Srams are awful. They don't clean and get worse and worse after just a few rides.
If you want white hoods, get Hudz, they are the absolute best, 3 months of riding everyday, I'[ve never cleaned thema nd they're still brilliant white.
Here's my new rebuild of my Guerciotti with Ultegra 6600 everything (and a 6700 RD), Thorne 49t chainring, eggbeaters, Tektro brakes and Nokon cables because I really don't like exposed cables anymore.
I'll probably be going to Time Atac pedals, Mavic shoes and TRP, Avid or FSA brakes soon...

They are Far and Near hoods, not sram. Two years old and still look like new, I just rarely clean them. I had a set of Hudz and did not care for the quality or fit.

Other than a final saddle switch to specialized avatar, the build is done.
the rear fender stays as i won't be racing for a while, and the front fender is put on when it's seriously raining
The handlebar was the latest addition to the puzzle, and i think i really like them over my old ergo bars. the shifters had to be angled way high so that i can grab them in the drops

You might try lowering your rear fender mounts to just above the dropouts. It makes a bigger triangle out of the mounting and will shimmy a bit less on bumps.
