that sucks man, sorry to hear it.

i spent 3/4 of a race last year disrupting a chase because my teammate was in what ended up being the race-winning break.

he got dropped when he forgot how to corner and decided to take a swim in a grass field.

I wish mine was that cool. I've was off the bike for a month and a half and back on now for 2 weeks. I was covering moves and countered when a teammate came back to take some pressure off him. I knew i didn't have it in me and what I though was the pack bringing me back was a group of 8 that had all the teams/HP from the group. My team was covering for me and I should have pulled the plug sooner and helped a chase instead.

wanders- thanks for coming out on saturday! we had a pretty good turnout given the cancellation/postponement. triangle velo did decently... 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th in the masters and 1st and 2nd in the p/1/2, so we protected some of the money we would have had to pay out

I'll bet the Mock Orange guys are kicking themselves for letting that guy that kept falling off the back get a lap up on them to take 2nd in the 40+. They thought they had a 1,2 and 3 finish. I watched the whole thing take place from the "cheap seat". He was dropped and clawed his way back on at least 7 times.

Amazing.

Millikan was my third race of the season and I felt great compared to the end of last season, I finished like 32nd it was a full field of 100. I did Ontario last weekend and was really strong the whole race but had bad placement with 2 laps to go and not enough strength to attack up the side to get to the front. Should be an interesting season.

Everyone's pics are killing me, were're still doing indoor TT's here in Ohio. Here's a shot from Sunday 2/28. I went solo on the national 10k course, had a 15:04 at 369 watts. Then right away, bolted up the tandem so my daughter could have some fun too. We were inside our personal best by 10 sec. at 16:12 at 353 watts. I was in a boat load of pain and from the looks of this pic, one of us was working harder than the other.

Doesn't look like much suffering, but I had just waited for two teammates to lap the field and then took off solo to go around as well. Orange County Speedway (North Carolina) on 2/27/10.

Been thinking about you. No! Not in "that way." Just wondering what you've been up to.

Aww, not in *that* way? I feel so unwanted! Things are good. Had swine flu a few weeks ago, so I'm not as fit as I normally am, but the legs are coming around. Going to Florida this weekend for my gf to race in a triathlon, and there's a bike race I can do as well, so that should be fun.

You need a new tandem partner. She is not pulling her weight.

Wow. I'm glad you're doing better. Hope to see you out at the races sometime in the future. Good luck to both of you in Florida.
