Anyone know if there were any photographers at Quabbin? I didn't see any, but there are probably some real good suffering pics of me hanging onto the tail end of the field by a hair.

Chasing down a break with #2 guy in the conference, on the front by myself for 6 laps. What fun. Probably shouldn't have let them get such a gap before chasing...

I'll give you one guess.
If that's not obvious enough, see here: https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...1#post10726888

There's this one guy from Drexel who takes a lot of pics of the races. I can't remember his name and I don't have facebook. Would someone be so kind as to post the links to his albums from Easterns?

In the 5 man chase group where I eventually squeezed out a 6th place in the Masters Category.

Mixing it up in the P/1/2/3 field where I finished 3rd Cat3 and got a bonus check.
Good ole' "truckin" is showing some suffering.
Same Pro-Am race. I started trying to pass a couple guys going up this climb to the finish. The field spread out and slowed a bit and I could move up.

In the top pic?
He had a guy in the break with us. Rich Creed I think. Rich stayed quiet in the break until the last turn of the last lap and drilled it perfectly to get 3rd. That Mesomorph worked his tail off and I was just as grateful.

out walking the earth
There was an unavoidable puddle with two feet of standing water in it. It was, errr, entertaining.

like you, I don't wear glasses on rainy days. I find I can see better even with the constant shower of crud. I have been picking black stuff out of my eyes for a day or so afterward though.
