Anybody get their RBA Magazine?
I just got a complimentary issue of Road Bike Action Mag courtesy of USA Cycling. It seems to be geared toward the race crowd versus the recreational cyclist (ie Bicycling Mag). It's not on the same level as VeloNews or ProCycling but it's only $10 for 6 issues. I think I may just give it a shot for a year.
Anybody else read this mag?

If it wasn't free, I doubt I'd have read it. Too many product reviews for a racing focused mag. I would prefer if it had things like what to pack for a weekend long stage race, racing tactics, schedules and race reports for the domestic teams, USCF rankings, etc.

Write them a letter. Being a new mag, I'm sure they'd love some suggestions.
Am I the only person who didn't get a freebie in the mail? I bought a copy, and liked it.

You get a free copy with a subscription to USA Cycling (for a racing liscense)
Got a copy, ok, but not the best. I have a Cycle Sport America subscription... if it wasn't for the outrageous import fees I would also have procycling and Cycle Sport + UK

It was like a very slimmed down version of VeloNews' product review issues, the worst issue of the year.
Glad I didn't pay for it.
Reviews of the latest carbon bike are soooooo boring.

I actually found it slightly worse than Bicycling. Roll's column was about the only bit worth reading. Maybe I need a subscription to ProCycling...

Darn... here I was thinking that the "Road Bike Action" magazine from the early 90's had been resurrected. I liked their enthusiasm and irreverency.

I got the one with Jens Voigt on the cover. The Armstrong interview was boring because it seemed to only cover his cancer stuff which really bores me and then they used 15 pages to cover a bunch of bikes which also doesn't interest me either. I'll stick to procycling.

i'd rate it slightly higher than bicycling. the interview with lance was kinda neat, but beyond that, nothing worth subscribing for.
