Anyone else apply for the Discovery TdF Show?

Anyone else apply for the Discovery TdF Show?
Discovery HD Theater has been advertising for an upcoming show in which they are going to send two lucky candidates to France to ride several stages of the Tour de France. Part of the application process was to submit a three minute video telling about yourself.
OK, I'll admit it... I sent in an application and a video. It sounds like it would be fun and riding the stages of the Tour would be a memory to last a lifetime.
I uploaded my video to YouTube but I haven't posted the link here on BF because I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I can handle the, um, scrutiny that something like that would garner around here.

I thought about it. Then racing season began, and it took the back burner.
I also remember posting my sprint video and being worked over by the usual suspects.
Pearls before swine.

You would do better to wear a short pink skirt and nothing else while bending over in a maximum security prison shower room than to post that link on BF. Unfortunately, now that people know it is SOMEWHERE on youtube, it will only be a matter of time before someone OTHER THAN YOU posts the link. Good luck all the same!

I almost feel bad for even thinking I could submit a video now. I HATE guilt trips!

I'm not exactly what one would call a "recreational cyclist".

I thought they were looking for up and coming racers. That's all.

Hey guys- The I am the poster of the video you guys are talking about. I'm thrilled that it has brought about so much talk... I know you guys have mixed reactions about how I chose to put my story out there, but it's the absolute truth. My recovery has really only been fueled by riding the bike, and you bet I'd love to get out there and ride in France. But that's enough about me... I wish ALL of you the best of luck.
