This is a walk down memeory lane. Haven't time trialed in a long, long time but back in my younger tri days 1 hour was our team standard for the 40k. 22 minutes on the swim and a 36 min 10k and viola a sub-2 hour olympic distance tri...Now need to see if I can just manage the bike part.

Bikes: Ever changing..as of 2-24-09: 2003 Giant TCR Team Once, Sampson titanium, 1992 Paramount Series 3, 2003 Cervelo P3, 70s Raleigh Record fixed gear, 70s Fuji SL-12 commuter, mid 90s Klein MTB. Plus two or three frames lurking, plus 5 wife/kids rides
Florida State TT tomorrow. It'll be interesting to see how many people go under an hour. Hoping for NO wind, the course is flat.
Murphy's Law is in full effect so far:
I went out tonight for a spin with the race wheels on and promptly ran over something and cut a huge flap out of my rear Michelin Pro Race 2. Go back home, discover I don't have any 80mm valve length tubes for the Zipp wheel. Frantically call my friend the shop owner at home..luckily he had one in his van. Did I mention that this sucker is IMPOSSIBLE to get a tire on without one of those pliers gadgets? I have incipient blood blisters on my hands now.
