Tour of Ireland

If anyone can check out stage two, I highly recomend seeing it. I drove over the Healy pass last week, it should be a very cool stage. I just wish they rode it in the other direction, the switchbacks are better that way.

I know it's on Irish TV, not sure about eurosport.

I'm just hoping someone torrents it.

Funny, was just reading the velonews feature on the race:

https://velonews.com/race/int/articles/13143.0.html

It looks to be a very competitive race with a lot of good riders and good squads. Hopefully the race will endure and grow, with future versions including a time trial.

You can see Healy pass from my Grandmother's farm. I rode from Kenmare out there in '95 (~12m) on a rented bike and those rolling hills killed me! They never, ever stop...

man, sure is pretty out there.

I don't know where the fans are going to stand. The roads are about a car width and a quarter wide.

Here's the link

If anyone has seen a torrent please post it. So far it's not up on Demoniod. Today must have been a great stage.

Kenmare was a great little town. We stopped in a little cheese shop there, great cheese, we ate it the next day, on Cove Island (outside of Cork City) on a cliff overlooking the Titanic's last mooring spot.

Wine + Bread + Cheese + History = a top ten day in anyone's life.

there are video highlights of Tour of Ireland here

nice scenery. And CSC are a monstrous team when they feel like flexing their muscle, too bad their new stagiare crashed out. Boassen-Hagen and Breschel are both guys who will be fun to watch in the future.
