Those of you with PowerTaps may have already read the newsletter today, but for those who haven't, this is pretty cool.

Hell, *I* want to do ~400 watts for the first kilometer of a prologue. I bet it does feel like almost nothing to pro's. Adrenaline and no lactic acid (built up yet) count for a lot.

I would kill a considerable number of people to be in his position.

Whoopsies!

It's interesting to note that the Disco bike tested faster alone, but slower with TD aboard.

If Allen Lim wakes up with a horsehead in his spreadsheet. Don't even think of us.

Ok, Part 2 is up now:
https://www.saris.com/athletes/

f-sake, 501W for 4 minutes. Millar is not a big boy for that kind of power. My CP4 is probably only around 440W, and I'm a lot bigger.

Tom must have just been running it to get numbers for Lim, and not competing, with a 390W average. That's attainable power for us mortals.

525W for Millar when the Tour comes around.
It always blows my mind what a body can do with talent and the right training.

These videos are really sweet. Its interesting that the difference in staying aero vs not can be the difference between 7th and 2nd place.

Accuracy +/- 10 watts? That's impressive.

I have actually become friends, (was/is still my "coach") with a PhD that has turned down many job offers similar to Lim's due the lifestyle issues and the "drug" thing.
