Try to be more concise next time. Trim it down a bit.

DrWJODonnell 06-29-08 12:02 PM

Your title is way too long.

This thread needs less talking and more graphs.

The "." was totally unnecessary. Congrats.

patentcad 06-29-08 12:34 PM

Good job ElJ. You are faster than me. But that's not hard.

Ih8lucky13 06-29-08 12:57 PM

Congrats on the w. Did you have pontoons attached to your bike?

Geoff326 06-29-08 01:02 PM

Go easy on me, the power output is a little embarassing in my aero tuck.

TheKillerPenguin 06-29-08 04:32 PM

sweet.

bdcheung 06-29-08 04:37 PM

Still more power than I can lay down in an hour.

I was going to say that it looks like you have a very efficient position on the bike, based on the power output versus the speed. And the number that matters is speed, not watts.

king-tony 06-29-08 04:53 PM

Congrats. I'd glady trade my 32 watts for your 1.4 mph. Looks like you were flying the last 1/4 of the race.

Do you give some credit to the powertap?

GuitarWizard 06-29-08 05:02 PM

Damn.....you're a slippery little *******, eh? Impressive.

Snuffleupagus 06-29-08 05:06 PM

A bit over 40k...looks like you did a 56:00 (or thereabouts) 40k.

Well done.

Actually, all of the credit goes to the PT. All I had to do was soft pedal. Thank god I went for the auxillary-hub-motor-and-battery option. <Insert smiley face here.>

Unfortunately it was a little damp this morning; couldn't see well, and I didn't use the PT for pacing. I guess I don't need that crutch, but I'd still be really nervous to race without it.

MDcatV 06-29-08 06:57 PM

Congratulations:)

It's rather embarrassing how long it took me to figure out the pontoon comment.

The flood had cleared by yesterday morning. The promoter had changed the start times and the course, but (luckily, for me at least) managed to change the course back to the long one by early morning.

(awesome)

TheJackMove 06-30-08 06:44 AM

Congrats. 26.4+ mph with ~288 watts is freakin sweet.
