Currently, it's embarassingly low. Over the past few months I'd have to say that my weekly average comes out to maybe... 20 miles not including trainer-time.

Once things warm up a bit, I'll usually be pushing close to ten times as much on average.

I just started bring it back to about 200-220 a week, but now I have yet one other thing to take away from my riding time. I can't wait for daylight savings time so I have more light later in the day.

Not even 100 yet... but give me another two-three weeks..and if the weather stays somewhat decent it will skyrocket.. Though may is when I really start putting on the miles... Working 7-5 pretty much takes all the daylight hours for me right now...

Around 175 per week. Some at 200-225, some around 150, depending on desire and other scheduling conflicts.

Not enough!!

An unusually long and cold winter has messed me up big time!!

Even now most of my time is on a trainer (which just ain't the same is it??) I get in about 1-2 hours a day on the trainer right now.

Speaking mileage, Moreno Argentin - training for the '92 season - rode 3500 km in December. That's 2170 miles. This included 60,000 feet of elevation.

In training for Milan San Remo, Merckx reportedly did a training ride of something like 330 km.

These miles are not completely unusual in the pro ranks. They are still impressive.

First good ride for the season for me this morning. I got 32 miles in 35-38 degrees, with 7 or so mph wind. Great ride with lots of hills. Although I tried to keep my mouth covered during the heavy workout periods, I think I burnt my lungs a little in the cold anyway. I have lots of trainer time since January, but my legs are still trashed from the ride! Good stuff!

WOW! What does everyone do for a living that they have the time to ride 100+ miles a week. I only can get near 100 if I call in sick at work or give up family time on Sunday...

After Day light saving time, it is another story.

Some of them bike to what they do for a living. Others probably just find the time somehow. You'd be amazed at how much time you can make for a ride if you just sit down and plan. One of my problems now is that I am doing a lot of business travel and thus am away from my bike so even when I have the time, I don't have the means. I'm hoping to change that soon with a travel bike.
