I'm doing every race on the schedule, that I feel like doing!

I think that we can corner the market for old guys, now.

The Tour de Felasco is an annual event where they open up the running trails at the southern part of the park and give you a nice 55 mile ride all over the place. There's a lunch half-way through and four or five sag stops.

And, luckily enough, it fell on my birthday last year (w00t).

I enjoy it because back when I ran I used to run at the southern trails of San Felasco all the time, and it's kind of neat to go back there on bikes one day a year. However, if you're like me and only go mtb biking 3-4 times a year, it's a hell of a hard ride (I think it took me 6 hours with the lunch stop last year).

Now, here's the bad news.. It's limited to 400 riders and it filled up in 2 days this year. Registration opened up on October 1st, and they were full by the end of the day on October 2nd -- and that was for mail-in registrations. Wow, but they took everyone who was postmarked October 1 & 2.

If you really want to ride it, I think there are some sponsorship slots open, so if you know a guy with a bike shop who wants to sponsor it then you might be able to get in.. Or if you can find someone on the rider list who is not going to ride, you may be able to get his registration.

Feb 09: Either Sausalito or SJ Crit
Mar 09: Menlo Park GP (if it gets enough funding)
Mar 09: Berkeley TTT (either tandem or on a team)
Mar 09: Ronde Van Brisbeen Circuit Race
Apr 09 - **No Racing - Doing Devil Mountain Double on the tandem.**
Jun 09 - **No Racing - Doing Eastern Sierra Double on the tandem. ** (Also our wedding is in June )
Aug 09 - **No Racing - Mt Tam Double on the tandem.** (Going for the California Triple Crown)
