Chalk, cowbell, scream MOOOOOOS - what else?

I need some help with a funny, slangy Swiss phrase...umm....as if he'll need more distraction as we're already blabbering in his face on the summit.

Took the truck up Palomar around noon. Sun was out, 40-45 degs.

A couple working a tough 9-10% section at about 4000'. Saw about 10-12 riders on my run up/down.

At 5000' there's about 2-3' snow.

Local hang.

The South Grade was dry all the way up. However, if you're doing it today with a lot of cars both ways, there's very little shoulder - the snow hasn't been cleared all the way off the road. The East Grade & Canfield Rd. had some big piles of slush/snow in sections. Dicey descent next week if it's like it was today.

No coffee & pie for me today. The parking lot was jammed and nearest space was about 800 metres away. All the families out with the kids and the sleds/saucers.

Great looking lodge. Photo on the fly from truck does it no justice.
