Do they just talk about the same things over there, that we talk about here?
I'm too lazy to look.
Some folks have the mistaken impression that the Professional Cycling forum is the refuge of no-nothings and people who speculate about doping.

Soler has been MIA in the climbs. What's the word? Did he crash again this week?

Is anyone else more impressed by Popovich than Levi?

So what? Contador isn't here...using your metric that the Tour is only race that matters the only rider worth anything in this race Armstrong who isn't even in contention. Of course we can't consider Sastra because Contador wasn't there, right? Menchov may have only won Vuelta (and the white jersey and 4th in your vaulted Tour) that's one more Grand Tour than Levi's ever won. So Levi isn't even as worthy as Menchov according your scale. I don't think Menchov is the greatest stage race ever but he's a solid rider as are the rest of the top ten.

I'm not sure why you even bother watching this race, why don't you just show up in July then complain that Contador doesn't have any competition...which is what your line will be in month and half

seeing as popovych won just about everything there was to win as an amateur, was on 2003 Giro podium, and was supposed to be the next big thing, should it come as a surprise?

Sorry botto, I was playing competitive paintball and graduating high school in 2003, not watching bike races. However, given the mass worship of Levi around here, it surprises me.

No, mostly counterstrike, which is only slightly better.

This is like what I was doing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NVYCx2XFUQ

Meanwhile, Scarponi and Cunego go on a great attack, leaving the rest of the breakaway behind.

Is Popovych in the breakaway to help Levi later on?

Soler has retired.

Rabobank looking ragged; good time for Liquigas, LPR, and the entire Italian contingent to attack for Di Luca. Imperative an Italian wins the Centennial.

Popovych and a couple others have regained Cunego and Scarponi.

I'm rather impressed with how well Rabobank has ridden since Menchov took the leaders jersey...

The rest of Astana very attentive; up near the front of the Maglia Rosa group.

Cunego lead group 55" ahead of break which has 4 minutes over Menchov

50km to go, 25 of which are climbing.

Michele Scarponi (Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni) and Damiano Cunego (Lampre - N.G.C.), Yaroslav Popovych (Astana) and Gabriele Bosisio (LPR Brakes - Farnese Vini) over 5 minute lead on the MR group. All looking sharp and working well together.

Nope. Inconsistency, thy name is Popo. Also, not a good team player.
