Yikes! 14 lbs of nutter on his head. Should give them up to a shop in Jackson WY, turn them into a dining room chandelier, and sell them to some rich dude for several thousand dollars (no I am not kidding).

There is a guy like that who has been destroying the 5 (and now the 4) fields in NY this year. He just has all the right stuff: tall, skinny, muscles, genes etc. Rides people right off his wheel.

Once he gets to the proper cat though he will just become the lead-out man for some smart racers.

Personally, I've had to work really hard for every watt gained, so I am impressed by these natural phenoms, but I am far far more impressed by folks who got there just from hard work, and they exist too.

Didn't see him on that race list.

he also won Bristol, by a fair margin.

I'm not racing until Wilmington-Whiteface (if I can get my mileage up to that level). Which corning race were you in?

Are you doing the 4's?

I wanted to but it's full, so I think I might have to skip this since doing the 3/4 would be a little pointless...

Bikes: Mostly English - predominantly Raleighs

The Rabobank guys are smiling again today. LPR on the front, and not pulling the break in... again.

Corning was my last weekend as a 5 so did the 5 and the 4/5 race.

Are you doing both races that weekend? The following day is the crit in Saranac Lake. A modified crit course from the Cloudsplitter Classics in 2000/2001. I am helping run the RR so cant race but will do the crit.

First he breaks his collar bone and now this fall. Starting to wonder about LA's bike handling skills...

I am definitely planning on the RR. Don't know about the crit yet. I might come up there for a few days and get a room. I'd like to go climb Whiteface in the early morning at some point. 55 miles is a bit over my distance, but we'll see how it goes.

You know Brendan won that 4/5 race right after placing second (by a fraction of a second) in the 3/4 race just before?

ISD has been ridiculously aggressive in the Giro. Great to see that.

they're not tying to pull the break in, they're there to keep the gap manageable.
