Why did I just now choose to go back and watch the video after reading this post (while I was eating breakfast)...was that bone sticking out?

Why on earth would that Race Official attempt to twist Robbie's foot to try and unclip this cleat?? Wouldn't it have been easier/wiser to simply unstrap his shoe and try and slip the foot out?

I'm pretty sure it was meat. For a compound fracture i'd expect a lot more blood.

Bummer. Watching McEwen race is always interesting.

The crash in the sprint finish didn't look too good either. Looks like the guy fell on his face!

Another 30mph stage. This time for 113 miles. It never ceases to amaze me how fast the pros can go if motivated. Just look at TTT's.

Borut Bozic takes it again.

Vacansoleil has been riding a great race. It's been fun watching ol' Aart Vierhouten setting up the sprints.
