Should probably go in the training failure status as I struggled through my threshold intervals today (and only did 3 out of 4 of them - 3rd one was hard enough to get through). Power was ok but the HR was through the roof. I hate it when you're legs feel like they an push the watts but aerobic system just goes wacko. I am having left over home made pizza for dinner though...its making me feel a lot better

I've only replaced them once. All of the parts are readily available. I bought mine from Sam's Town with the lifetime warranty. This paid for the replacement parts, then they went out of business.

I use mine a lot. I even use it for smoking pork shoulder and that might mean 8 hours at one shot.

Goals for today:
1) 2 hrs z2
2) Avoid knee pain. Going to adjust my cleats/toe-in-angle to see if that helps.

Yoga and one-leg drills on Monday.

Killed myself last night with some hill repeats (1:15-1:20, it's a short hill). My instructions were 7-9 at 280+w, which I took to mean 9 at 300+w. It was hard, but I did it.

Woke up early today for an hour in the rain with 30" efforts every 5 minutes for 45 minutes. More yoga at lunch.

Hit the button at 5:15 this morning. 30' endurance warm-up, 30' SST, 15' endurance pace cool down. I did it on no food to make out a bonk ride type of thing. Had the porch light on this morning, so no death-by-rollers. All in all, reasonably successful.

It was 40 degrees here. So, positively warm for NYC in February, even with the rain.

Nice. I was telling someone the other day (we were talking about the old days) when we used to ride for like 7 hours in those type of conditions.

that's pretty hard core, especially the riding when it's 40F out and raining
