This is a big problem for early season races in MABRA for the lower categories, though the google group is good about reminding people to be at their computer at registration time. In OBRA so far this season, the only race that filled up was allowed to start with way more 4/5's than posted on the flyer. Like 95 guys started a race capped at 75.

I'm not sure why you would get that sense, as I'm obviously passionate about the issue, but thanks for the vote of confidence. The typical iPhone developer mantra is to build the app for yourself, because usually, it fills a need others have as well.
That said, I probably won't release it on the App Store unless people are clamoring for it. By the general reception in this thread, I don't think I'll be holding my breath

To the OP: there are plenty of sites out there that have links to most information -
GamJams race calendar.
Haymarket/HomeVisit's website.
I noticed that these don't have the "registration opens at X:XX o'clock" so I started a page on my blog for my own reference: https://sigberto.blogspot.com/2010/02...ion-pages.html. Bookmark that if you want.
Don't just look at BikeReg.com, either. Because of the benefits that being part of GamJams Cat 3 Cup brings, many promoters are moving to Pre-Reg.com as a registration page for their events (a sponsor of the series). Check that site every now and then, too.
In this area the Cat 4 and Cat 5 events will sell out in minutes until after Murad. Then it's mostly the Cat 5 events. Either way, you can almost always get into races off of the waitlist anyways, especially once you're a Cat 4.
Oh, and if you really wanna race, find a way to keep track of this stuff. It's a race to register, so that you'll get to race. That's just the culture of mid-Atlantic racing.
