Fixed that for you. That must have taken forever to edit.

Only about an hour. Using FCPX, I can create a multiclip and just watch it, selecting the angles as I go. Once the angles are synchronized, it's really quick. Figuring out if there is a story worth telling, that's the hard part.

Love your stuff BTW.

Here is another. Give me some thoughts on the style. What's cool? What isn't all that interesting?

It's quite long. The camera noise adds lots of noise, and not much interest. The helmet cam is pointed too low, can't see what you're seeing at all. Mostly lots of ground. The overhead stuff is great. That course is silly. How long is it?

Rear view of racer clipping a pedal on a turn

A rider clips his pedal on a turn causing a crash behind him. This is from last weekend's Air Force Classic Crystal Cup Cat 2/3 race with about 2 laps to go.

here is a video I did of the Bunny Hop race Women's 1/2/3 in Suitland, MD. You don't see many women's races so I thought I'd do these/

The guy who went down grabbed a fist full of rear brake. Yes, the one guy clipped a pedal. but he stayed upright. **** happens. If you clip a pedal and you crash yourself taking out folks, it's a different conversation. That's how my elbow got broked.

I just realized I don't actually have the energy. Since this is clearly some guy trying to continue a debate that ran it's course elsewhere, give me some insight into the take away. The guy clipped a pedal. What action should follow from our righteous indignation?

Just as long as someone pointed out the rear brake/lockup, and the group ratified it, I'm satisfied. The clip pedal guy lost 100% of his rear traction and kept it upright, but the skater just kept skating until he'd crashed everyone. It's a good idea not to crash every time something happens in front of you.

So, cool, thanks. Now we can all just move on. As a P1 guy I clipped a pedal in Exeter chasing Mark McCormack around. My bike swung sideways and I rode out of it. Unless we're advocating for tar and feathers there's no much to debate.

what's funny is that I clipped a pedal, lifted the rear and kept it upright (just like in the video) at Leonardtown (cat4 race) and my teammate who was behind me didn't crash (in-fact, no one crashed because of that - thankfully).

more drama needs to be had somewhere on the internets. the listserve was running dry; a new venue must be found!

I had a big time pedal clip in turn 1 at clarendon on Saturday. no one crashed, 2 guys around me said "nice save." I chuckle in hindsight because all I did to "save" it was nothing, I just kept going. wish I could have saved it 15 minutes later when I t-boned the dude that fell down in front of me in turn 2!

oh that sucks about being collected... Glad you were able to keep it upright for that first incident though. I don't remember doing anything special either except that I kept pedaling and was balanced throughout the whole ordeal. However I heard a 'thumping' with each wheel rotation after I did that and went into the pits thinking that I had partially flatted or was moments from flatting. I found that I popped about 4" of the tire bead off the rim...
