That place is halfway between my office and my old apartment. For years I walked by it twice a day, five days a week, and still have never eaten there. I just can't bring myself to pay $5 for a stupid cookie.

I bet you would like "Surf Nazis Must Die".
Somewhere in my house I have the VHS tape of that given to me by a "friend".
Whenever I watch films like this all I can think of is their MST3K possibilities. My wife, OTOH, actually enjoys them if they are really campy. Needless to say we both enjoy Ed Wood movies for very different reasons.

I wouldn't either, but when someone else is paying $5 for a stupid cookie I'm not arguing.

Good, don't start. It's like a coke habit. Before you know it, you're screaming at an ATM machine at 3AM because the screen keeps blinking "not enough available funds".

This makes me miss Beau Jo's pizza in Colorado. Their crust is huge (~2" diameter), and you keep them to the side as you finish off pieces of pizza. They have honey on the table, and you pour it over your crusts and eat them as dessert. Awesome awesome.
Pizzas are ordered by the pound, and this is a lil' 2-pounder:

I left a 2 pounder in the head not too long ago. I called it 'Chipotle'.

stole your bike
There have been almost no overpriced food items that I've found either worth the wait or the expense. Let me guess: there's loads of people queueing up to get in the place?

Our neighbour is out of town, coming back tonight. We've been looking after their dog and 3 cats. One of the cats died today. Oops.

So you know how when you're riding in SoCal in October and it's cold enough for a base layer and arm warmers, and you're heading up a steep walled canyon after a rain storm, and you hear a loud "crack" and 20 feet behind you, where you were just seconds ago, a medicine ball sized boulder along with various basketball and baseball sized boulders come shooting across the road at 30 MPH?
Does that freak you guys out at all?
Just wondering. I'll take my answer off the air.

Sometimes highway 2 gets this way, too.

One of our guys is trying to steal Tait from you I hear.
Oh about the kits: Squadra is weird.
The chamois is friggin' huge and the cuffs on the bottom of the bibs are loose-ish and without an elastic band, almost ribbon-like. It almost seems like they need to be hemmed or cut or something.

Had that happen over Thanksgiving one year with a neighbors black lab. Spent a long lonely night with a pick axe and a shovel burying the dog for them.

Ebay is strange.
I listed a Deda stem on Sunday night with a starting bid of $0.99 and a BIN of $20. Someone bid the 0.99, which wiped out the BIN option. The auction ends tomorrow and it currently sits at $23.50.
Luckily for me no one took the BIN.
