I disagree with half his politics and tactics, but I like the guy's personality. Did he call you to congratulate you for your ride, or to get gsteinb's cycling secrets? Maybe you can help him lose weight.

eh, my elbow doesn't 'hurt' too much. My hand looks nasty, and is numb and swollen. All in all it's a pretty useless appendage right now.

Surgery is Thursday, yep.

What are the chances of my bike making the connecting flight with a 48 minute plane change in Houston?

gsteinb, it's gotta be a long week for you.

Hey pope I'm taking that as a compliment and running with it. Nice to talk to Gs today. I'm actually a pretty decent guy though you wouldn't think so.

Btw I am not in jersey though I head to Philly tomorrow and Atlantic city next Monday.

It's Tuesday. "Partly cloudy with a chance of a thunderstorm and a chance of rain in the afternoon. High of 95F with a heat index of 100F. Winds less than 5 mph."

Should I race the Tuesday nighter, or just go for a long JRA?

I feel like death.

Had the worst stomach cramps (?) last night after the gym. It was just feeling annoying so I went and worked out. I wanted to die on the bus ride home. I got off the bus and almost passed out. I don't know how I managed to walk home and up the stairs to my room. I collapsed when I got there.

Worst pain that I can remember. I don't think I've felt like I was going to pass out for a long time.

My first experience with California was our honeymoon. I'll never forget us dragging luggage to the front entrance of an inn on the square in Sonoma and a guy getting to the door just ahead of us. He walked through it and promptly let it shut in our faces. We weren't two steps behind and he was coming from the other direction so he saw us.

Had that happened in The South I would have had to demand satisfaction at sunrise on Philadelphia Alley with pistols for the personal slight.

Serious post.

The younger brother of a coworker has cystic fibrosis. He's all of 24 years old and his lung function is down to 25%. He's at the point of needing a double lung transplant. Please check out the site he put together, and if you can please donate to help with the cost of the surgery. He currently lives with his sister (my coworker) and they are incredibly close. Needless to say even with the transplant the odds of him surviving to see 30 are pretty slim.

If he doesn't survive long enough to get a transplant all donations go towards CF research.

https://newlungsforkyle.com/

Thank you.
