Hrm. Wonder what time it is for 4s. We planned to leave around 10am on Sunday.
This thread is getting good, wish I wasn't in a car on my phone.

Just got back from the TT stage of the Tucson Bicycle Classic. 92 degrees. I redlined the whole time.

This $899 Excalibur deal is very tempting. The only thing keeping me from snapping it up is that my size only comes in green.

LAJ you in? I am, unless it is dumping. I'm going with the 45+ group because I'm told I need good ass whippin'.
Hammy the way I read the forecast is 30% chance of hail, fire and brimstone, and 70% chance of fair weather accompanied by a lot of self-inflicted pain.

fixed gears and single speeds serve their purpose. i got into the sport thanks to owning one, way back in the day.
that said, seeing all of those schmucks riding around town with no brakes, with handle bars that are 8" wide, and "racing" in the witching hour... "twitchy:
seems like most of them treat their bikes like a 5 year old does a barbie - it's all about decorating their pretty little toys.
gentlemen, they're tools, not jewels.

I plan on it, though I don't know if I can do the 45+, rwt. I will see come registration. Of course, Fort Collins is on fire over by Horsetooth, according to a friend.

The wife was the final voice of reason- I told her I was trying to decide whether or not to drive up and she says-
"uh, is this race important? Why are you contemplating driving 70 mi to (possibly) race in the rain? Dont you have enough hinges in your collarbones?"

Having said that, your wife's question does have a certain logic.

stole your bike
As it relates to riding it is not only wet but gets you and your bike dirty.
