If you see it, check out Corralejo Reposado in the blue bottle. My favorite tequila (behind Clase Azul) and reasonably priced too.

A shot of that, some club soda, and a squeeze of lime...so good. On a good (bad) night, I've taken out the whole bottle and no hangover the next day.

My 'Go-To' tequila is Don Jose. Pretty much any variety. Their '1942' is amazing stuff, but even the silver is good. I drink it the same way, 'Nor-Cal Margarita' style.

Bummer ... Get well soon ....

+1. The recovery isn't too bad for these.

One thing I noticed was that from week 2 to week 4, I was growing bone at such a rate that I couldn't eat enough food, and I still lost 3 lbs. I was eating like I was 17 again (like 6500 calories/day?). Pizzas, pies, piles of burgers, medium sized pets. Enjoy that part. I was on the trainer a lot for the recovery too.

My brother in law is a rock musician, hockey player, real tough guy. He's been having back pain for a couple of weeks but shrugged it off. Woke up unable to breathe a couple days ago and rushed to the ER. Advanced pneumonia that wouldn't drain via chest tubes. Going in for thoracic surgery today. This will be significantly life changing, both for health reasons and due to the expected $100k medical bills. My sister is beside herself. It's incredible how fast your life situation can change.

Glad it was trash day. Made it easy to take them all down.

Good work! Nicely done.

Some people.

I rode the trainer from 3 days after the break to day of surgery, had surgery and was on the trainer 4 days after surgery. Still ate less than when riding (felt like, anyway) and gained weight.

The truly does suck and feel for anyone in that situation. Being in Canada we just can't related to the financial burden that unexpected surgery puts on a person and their family. Not only are you worried about their health and well being now and in the future, but then you worry how they are going to financially survive once they are healthy...

Ygduf 11-04-13 09:57 AM

^^ I didn't say it.

Give me a couple shots of tequila - bring stiff like this up and watch out.

I've lived in both systems and have some very strong and founded opinions...

Moral hazard is so omnipresent when someone is given the choice of bankruptcy and financial insolvency or death. That's an incredibly easy and ****ty decision all at once. Makes a person very very vulnerable to being taken advantage of in many ways.

waterrockets 11-04-13 10:41 AM

Yikes. Best wishes for him, Grolby.

You should have seen it yesterday. 2-man TTT, Merckx-style, with the frame pump still on it.

Nevermind...

I did 3 cx races this weekend. So painful and so much fun. I think the only reason I ride is to (1) eat and (2) race.

:roflmao2:

We could probably explain it with a short animated GIF, but it would be difficult to decide which way to orient it to reduce confusion.
