My edge 510 has still not come around to the idea of DST. The manual indicates that "time of day" is determined automatically, and that's great until it is determined incorrectly. :/

Only two dogs that ever bit me. I was told they were border collies.

If you go to one of the shelters in CT I'm sure you could find one. Heck, go to the closest vet, they'll probably have some. The second litters are about 2 months old now, give or take. If not now you'll realistically have to wait until spring for a true "just born" kitten, at least a feral one.

We got extra lucky: very smart border collie, but not hyper or needing to be worked a lot. He loves learning & doing tricks. I also never realized how omnivorous dogs can be. He gets so excitied when he sees carrots, broccoli, cucumbers etc come out of the fridge.

I would like Malcolm McDowell and James Earl Jones to read my social media feeds to me for one day. All I ask is for one day.

Wicked smart is correct. Border collies are very intelligent. Arguably the smartest breed of dog.
Hound they are not.
Talking about brave my dog is a Humane Society rescue American Fox Hound. Making a hunting breed dog into a house dog isn't easy, but I have had this dog for almost 10 years. Best dog I ever had the pleasure of hosting.

I was super impressed with my edge 500 adjusted automatically! Somehow in the past 4 years I had never noticed that before. Probably because I lived in AZ most of that time, haha.

[/begin old man rant]:
for anyone under let's say 30 who went to college, do you folks actually have to write reports or is everything a bubble sheet now? i have hired multple people over the past 15 years from natural sciences backgrounds from schools ranging from random small state schools to Duke, and noticed a steady erosion of writing skills to the point that new-ish hires dont seem to be able to formulate a basic paragraph that opens with a position, supports that position, and compels the reader to a conclusion. they're more like incoherent thoughts with a conclusion that isnt really supported. I have talked with others in similar positions as myself in my company and we all have noticed the same thing, so I'm not totally alone in this.
dear colleges: your graduates can't write, despite whatever you're requiring.

My homemade Rock N Roll is 99% done. I used stock shock bushings I had left over from the old-now-gone Civic and they're too soft. I need to track down some polyurethane ones, which I may have but I think I used them in said Civic.

You would be correct. I actually did more writing in college than I have in my professional career. Engineering Major. EVERY. SINGLE. COURSE. had multiple writing assignments at my uni. I haven't written a report longer than a page since then. Usually I fill powerpoints with diagrams and bullet the big ticket items. But I work with numbers/pattern people.

Holy **** to write with poor grammar and punctuation is more difficult than writing correctly...
