Lol, that's hilarious.

What would you learn in math or engineering that would be job related in most IT jobs ? And to the degree that if you don't know it then you would not qualify for the job ?

Awesome!

I didn't beta test this one so I had no idea what people will think about it. =]

My ex is a belly dancer. One of the few things I'll miss about her. Probably the only thing actually...

vent/

Tenant says no use of parking lot, no blocking driveway at all, no blocking the 4 way into the course, etc. This after I've been paying for some of his cost of doing business. At least he copied the town on his email.

Due Junior being somewhat inconsolable for a while plus me not feeling well plus two once-in-a-blue-moon appointments while Junior was in daycare I did't see the email for 20 hours.

Unlike him I'm trying to think of alternatives.

I'm not a real fan of the winter games because the US just doesn't dominate them like we rightfully should. I don't see adding CX as changing this, so why stick it in there?

What we really need is a sport where you drink 48 Bud Lights, get bundled up, ride your snowmobile home for 45 minutes while downing another sixer and shoot coyotes. I think we could be competitive with the Canadians in that one and North America as a whole would be able to throttle the rest of the world.

Being a Lake Placid guy I'm friends with one of the luge coaches. He's originally from the soviet union and is a former Olympian. Great, gregarious guy, who sells high end olive oil at the farmer's market. He makes one of the best burgers I've ever had (beef with choirzo and bacon and some spicy adobo tinged mayo sauce).

Anyone have any tips where to stay in Yosemite? My dad wants to go. He's more of a photographer and wants to just drive around to different spots and take pics. He's not into the long hikes or camping in the wilderness. I just want a hotel that will be close to Yosemite and with a diner or somewhere to get food. We did a trip around 5 yrs ago but we left at 4am and came back the same day around 8pm. The driving wasn't fun. The park was cool.

So, I know a lot of us are science based and here is a small plug for a great site we have been using for some free training with some of our chemists
https://www.chromacademy.com/index.html

It is a pretty good resouce
@Specialized2k10 No recommendations on location but if you want great landscape shots of yosemite you will want to be there pre sunrise and sunset for the golden hour

Lots of good microbrews these days.

The Ahwahnee, in the park, is great. A bit pricey, and sometimes hard to book.
