Day off the bike so I thought I would try out the 7-minute workout: https://well.blogs.nytimes.com/2013/0...-workout/?_r=0 You're supposed to do it all out and if you do so it's legit.

Rode for the second time this whole week, now that the tour is back and school is officially over, I can catch up on some sleep and I'll be riding a lot more.
Canada day on Monday!!
Ps. I must ask, did anyone watch the tour today? ...

Friday - 1.5hr w/ 9x30sec ouchies, but not too bad.
Saturday - 2.5hr+ w/ 3x15min @ 100%. The third one was pretty fail, didn't hold squat watts. I think I was still feeling friday's workout I finished like 12 hours earlier.
Sunday - 5hr solo century w/ 4.5k climbing @20MPH woo hoo.
10 point raise to my CTL through those 3 rides haha. Nice coming off a break and seeing the CTL sky rocket.

3 hours tonight. The past few rides I've been with my dad so I'd be fresher than ever the entire ride. Yesterdays ride; there is a downhill near my house which I PR'd by a few km/h, then like 1km down the road there's hill just before my house, I PR'd that by about 10km/h(!!) with the help of a strong tailwind. Today my dad was able to go harder than yesterday so I had to work harder for the last hour dragging him along into a strong headwind. After that, into a strong crosswind I PR'd that downhill by another ~2km/h and the uphill by another ~5km/h. I'm just so happy about this right now!

3.5hrs today in the hot sun. Felt good. Rode with a guy for a few miles on my way home who's going from the highest to lowest point in NY. Was atop Marcy yesterday and will finish the trip by kayaking into NYC on the 4th. Interesting trip.

Today is definitely a day off. I can't remember the last time my legs felt this wrecked after a race weekend. Yow! I should probably break out the foam roller.

That's what I heard. I went out for a 4 hour ride on Saturday and it was around 95*F north of the bridge. That was enough heat for me. :|

3' interval set in 104F. Why? Because it's going to be 104F in Davis on Thursday.

Making a kilometer blurry
Once, in a race, I discovered how to tell when I should back off due to heat. It was 107F. I bridged a break, and started working. After a few minutes, my right eye stopped pointing where I was trying to look. I figured that I was done at that point. Other than that, flame on...

My worst experience was last year on a charity ride, it was 99F, I was not in shape because I had just started to become somewhat serious about cycling, and my dad forgot his water bottle at a water stop. I had half a bottle left but gave it to him cause he needed it way more than I did. Then I had to go 25km without a drop of water.
