Dodge Tour de Georgia road trip

Inside info is that Landis and Horner are definitely bringing their teams to Georgia.
Discovery is coming, but we're waiting to hear from Lance. He has "a key to the front door" if he wants to use it. Even without him, it'll be a special event.

If you want to see a true bike racing party, be in Georgia in April. Last year's finish on Brasstown Bald was absolutely amazing.

I'm strongly considering driving down to catch one if not three of the last stages in the northern part of the state. Dalton and Brasstown Bald for sure.

They just announced the route. Brasstown Bald is on a Saturday. Get there early. Bring paint.

Use chalk. The Georgia State Patrol will ticket you, or worse, for vandelism if they chatch you paiting the roads.

Funny thing from last year's TdG, I only wish I had a link to the story. A county sheriff, I can't remeber which one, wanted to ticket each rider in the race for speeding. He gave them permission to go through his county, but not at high speeds.

That's pretty funny about the speeding. Not surprised in the least.

In a lesser note, we nearly had the entire UVM B TT get arrested when they were racing by a less than clued in cop during the Beanpot 2 years ago...
