We have been discussing adding another race. It would be a criterium, and it would be epic. The problem, as always, is struggling to get the help to pull it off. You would be surprised how much of this comes together at the last minute, and how many tactical decisions we have to make on race day to ensure maximum safety.
I'd like to thank all of you who have taken the time to fill out the post race survey. We read every one of them, and present a summary to the board. Your overwhelmingly positive comments make all the hours worth it.

@shovelhd and @grolby
What I said was more tounge-in-cheek but apparently you both took this as a completely serious suggestion. I know that each race belongs to a different club, I know logistics change when you talk about creating a stage race. Maybe the ( ) smiley wasn't as obvious as I had hoped? Statement does stand that it would be cool to see a stage race pop up in Massachusetts and that Tour of the Hilltowns would be cool to see as a stage race.

And what I am implying is that your idea is not out of left field, and not out of the realm of possibility.
Awesome race in Beverly tonight. Working the pits in a downtown criterium is my favorite assignment, bar none.

No one honestly expects you to give away your team's race. Also as much as I love the idea of that race (Even minus the ridiculous crit portion at the top of Greylock) I don't know if anyobe would ever want to do something quite that brutal. Aside from Mike W. who would just do it on his MTB.
Still, it would be pretty awesome to see another stage race in these parts since Catskills and Longsjo are no longer (I do not consider 3 crits to be a stage race).

I agree it would be great to have more stage races in the area, and don't think that hasn't occurred to us as well...

Oh dang I just remembered the Rochester Twilight Crit is a thing coming up. I think I want to do that assuming it doesn't start too late. My night vision is terrible

i also have to look at flights for GMSR again. i'd kind of ruled it out but i hear lots of great things. if it doesn't happen this year, i'll for sure make it happen another year.
also had a crazy idea to meet up with a friend who lives in france and is racing there--he sent me a race calendar. hm.

I don't know if the Cream is gonna Rise. Five days out and 60 preregistered. I hope it makes it, I need the work. No Witches Cup, next level crew.
