No way.

We're like a virus.

rockmuncher 04-19-05 07:05 PM

...lurking quietly, waiting to pounce

Crack'n'fail 04-19-05 07:20 PM

waiting for confirmation from Lotek that I have answered correctly.

ed073 04-19-05 07:27 PM

I reckon you're right.

Crack'n'fail 04-19-05 07:46 PM

I'll assume so:

With Liege coming up this weekend:

We all know about Eddie Merckx' Domination winning the race 5 times in 7 years.

Who has the second most wins? How many wins? What Nationality?

ed073 04-19-05 07:51 PM

Oooh....good one.
I reckon I know this, but I've had too many goes.

Is the correct rider relatively recent?

rockmuncher 04-19-05 08:28 PM

Too easy. Moreno Argentin with 4 wins
Oh, I forgot Nationality: Born 17 December 1960, San Dona di Piave, Venezia, ITALY

Give me a minute to find an unGoogleable Q

rockmuncher 04-19-05 08:55 PM

Forging ahead without confirmation from Crank'n'fail...

A tough one to stretch even the mighty powers of google. The answer is there all right, but it'll take some superior googling to get it (unless you know, of course!)

In 1999 an American won a world championship in a specific cycling discipline. In doing so they became the first and remain the only American to win the world championship in that discipline.

Name the rider and the discipline.

531Aussie 04-19-05 09:29 PM

is it road, track, mtb, cross, bmx

gcasillo 04-19-05 09:32 PM

Waterbike perhaps?

gcasillo 04-19-05 09:43 PM

Shot in the dark: Kent Bostick, Masters Pursuit.

You already have enuf clues to google the answer without too much trouble.
