I'll dig the rollers out tomorrow. I have an older 404 rim, with cracked hub. Maybe combine parts to make 1 wheel ??

The whole office building has them. A lot do. It plays through the overhead speakers they use for announcements and stuff.

Submitted my cat 4 track upgraded and bought a 15t cog so I don't have to race on 84 inches anymore.

hit the snooze at 4:10, got up at 4:20 (norcal, yo). Must be bike racing day!

someone at work asked me if I was racing or resting this weekend. Hard to explain that compared to the bull**** at work, a bike race where you can channel all the feels straight through your legs is pretty restful.

I'm glad I work at a small place without all the nonsense many of you have to deal with.

That's so much money, wow, congrats. Any lower loan burden will help in the long run, the amount of debt some med students have is crazy. Good luck!

I ventured into the far reaches of the dungeon like basement and found some old school Kreitler rollers (4.5" plastic), but the belt was nothing but fragments of fossilized orange plastic.
Looks like replacement belts are easy to get for about $20.

The rollers themselves seem in good shape. Spin nicely. Just needs a belt and some dusting.
The fan attachment needs a belt too, if that's being used.

When I came unclipped Thursday, my right leg shot forward (still clipped in) when the chain dropped (im sure it would have happened anyways considering it was a sprint). The motion was apparently violent enough to throw my leg/hip out of alignment. Its like ive taken one giant step backwards. Leg/hip hurt after the races yesterday, and even more so after the drive home. Called my PT and have an appointment tomorrow morning at 10:30..cant come soon enough.

Getting sick and tired of being sick and tired. Have had some kind of stomach virus that has lingered since last Saturday and has had me become very well acquainted with the restroom while leaving me exhausted. Haven't been on the bike in over a week and am just watching my CTL fall and fall. Have a Dr appointment today to see whats going on.

That issue sounds a lot like what I had (femoral glide syndrome). I've put probably about 20 something hours of research into the issue and these are the best two videos I could find:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQl6hHNgFWI

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SE-yVP691SA

Highly recommend the band exercises; they slipped my joint back and if it isn't out no harm no foul.

I can't even imagine what that feels like. I've had issues related to a super tight IT band pulling my leg inward...but nothing actually popping out of alignment. Heal quickly, that sounds miserable.

Debating on buying a go pro after work today. It could be a fun toy to add to my road and track set ups, then again that money could be better spent on gas and travel to and from races.

I got one for christmas. Ive used it once or twice to record my roommates dog. Not something I would spend my own money on

When I say out of alignment, I mean back to how it was before I started seeing this physical therapist. I don't know if it is actually out or not. My physical therapist uses the belt/band on my hips and it really helps loosen them up..the first time seeing him he also did a bunch of other stuff do my leg/hip/lower back which corrected whatever was wrong.

This x2. I got a Virb, thought I'd be recording all the races and stuff. I think I recorded two of them and that was about it.

Funny. I got a Fly6 for my birthday. I've watched a couple of the videos but unless somebody hits me from behind, they're not worth watching.
