What type of tubing is your frame?
true temper platinum ox... it might as well be called true temper rubber bands

your ciocc road bike is also probably not using double butted/thin walled steel, so that is potentially contributing to it's greater stiffness... at this rate, i think my next frame is going to be aluminum
