I need a new tire for my commuting bike-an old Trek 1200 road bike. I want something to reduce the frequency of flats. The 3 options I am considering are

1) armadillo tire
2) slime and a regular road tire/tube combo
3) kevlar strip and regular tire/tube combo.

Any opinions are appreciated.
