Crazy, we have no snow down south. In fact I'm about to head to to Buffalo Pound for some ice free mtb right now! Current temp there is 4C... oooohhh I can't wait!!!!

On ice like that, full spikes would be the bomb. I'm on 296 Extremes in the winter and have never had a slip up on them.

More aside - you Saskatoonians have some sweet trails in your town. I've raced the Silverwood race for the last couple of years and am always impressed with the quality of the trails. Actual, technical MTB riding in the city, sweet! In Regina we have ZERO real MTB trails in town, always having to drive to ride your MTB is kind of a bummer.
