I say Larry Fignon must be mentioned. That guy was a huge talent, could do everything but sprint. That he won just two tours a giro or two, Milan San Remo, GP Des Nations and some other stuff I guess, I can't remember what else he got. I mean he had two tours by 23, he came away pretty much empty handed all things considered.
