If you're calculating a cost per mile of having your bike on vacation with you, you're in the wrong frame of mind to be on vacation!!
You're supposed to let stupid crap like "cost per mile" go when you take a vacation. Don't worry about the ordinary drivel... just factor the cost of transportation or a rental into your overall vacation budget and let the rest go. Enjoy the islands, the riding and the relaxation.
