I have and always will prefer to hand a person my money and walk out of the shop with the item in my hand. This build I'm working on will have items that were bought online mainly because my favorite shops do not stock items such as bullhorns, track cogs, and wheels with fixed hubs. With the more common items, I always purchase from the LBS. There is something about the smell of grease, the nod of understanding and the shiny bikes that you can never get from online stores.
