Actually none of these things "make" us angry. They are just events.
Our emotional reactions are entirely our own decisions. Perhaps the study should also ask why do drivers make themselves angry. Anger is the most over-prized of all emotions. The Rage display in primates is all an act to impress others, but we all seem to get off on its adrenaline rush as well. Where is the benefit?
