Hi there N7CZ;

I was over in your neck of the woods last year and your juvenile population tried to kill me. I still don't know what I did to upset the birds.

I took off from our motel in the late afternoon and rode up the hill and out to the base. I was on my way back and about half way down the hill when these snotty nosed little poops grabed the back of my bike and took off. A white Honda without plates, thats it. I went for the flying "W" with a 92 point landing in a mini market.

The local law shows up and when he found out I was Ok, except half my hide being imbeaded in the asphalt, he just chuckled. He asked if I had seen any other bikes out in that area. No and what that got to do with it I snap back.

He proceeds to explain to me that they were having trouble with a group of escaped teenage hemroids that were bored and doing this to bikes on weekend nights.
He even got a bigger chuckle when he found out I was a visiting Deputy.

I get back to the room and my wife about freaks. I had to soak in the tub to get most of the pavement out. The rest exited over the next couple of weeks.

The next day none of the locals at the convention were surprised at what happened. They just said this happens all the time. Now you tell me.

Well, the next day the main speaker, an MD from Billings, and I go ride the Lewis and Clark trail. Nice enjoyable ride. I get back towards the end (by the railroad car) and I thought a 747 dumped it toilet on me. I don't know what you feed those Gulls over there but it makes them squirt like a Christmas Goose. He hit me right on my helmet visor. I don't have to tell you what it did but there was enough dropped to destroy any compact car it hit.

All in all we had a good time and they did a nice job on the trail. We are still laughing about the trip.
