I understand what you're saying but...your husband, it sounds like, is making a huge gesture by obviously learning a bit about bikes, researching and buying you some very expensive wheels (which, while maybe not Ivan Basso wheels are pretty darn good and better than what you have) and you're going to tell him that he's wasted his time and you want to tell him what wheels to get you? Well, you know your husband.
