This is so sad. I keep reading stuff like this on the forum and it scares me. I am just getting into riding and I always ride alone since I live in the countryside. Part of me wishes I was back in a big city where speed limits are more applicable, for whatever that's worth. My g/f is always scared for me when I go riding because she says she has nightmares of me being hit and left on the side of one of these roads with no one around. I am wondering if this girls parents are affluent or had connections. I mean let's be honest... it's all about who you know in these circumstances.
