One guy I ride with has built up a mess of used Cannondale CAAD frames that he got for cheap off of eBay. I want to say that he got one frame and fork for like $80 (a slightly used CAAD4). There are tons of 54 and 56cm frames up at any given time, so they just aren't worth that much.
