Electromethod: Almost anything we do is has some inherant danger behind it so don't give up cycling, I skiied for along time knowing that a potential injury (or even death) was a risk...It took 25 years before I crashed hard enough to break a bone. yes the chance is there that you may get hit...it could happen in your car as well as being on your bike..if we sat in fear or in silence then we might as well not exist. Use this as an opportunity to get involved politically to harshen the laws. Not just for cyclists, but runners, walkers, and anyone who may use the road to make it safe. It is a sad but unfortunate truth that this great country has become an "all about me" society...anyhow i am just rambling now.
