And it's impossible to overstate the significance of the second factor in the statement above. My guess is that FSA (who makes the Kwing bars) isn't exactly a big supplier to pro teams, or they'd be on half the bikes in the pro peloton.
On the other hand many amateur racers in my area who all shell out their own hard earned dollars for bike schwag seem to like the Kwings, and they're all over the place. So what the pros ride is secondary in my view to what works. A pro riding a bike or component might get that item on my bike weenie radar screen. But I generally ask somebody I ride with 'how do you like that bike (component)?' - and that influences me more directly.
