The anti-light, anti-helmet currents run DEEP, there was a local bike shop owner going off last night on a Seattle internet board about a local counterculture night ride. How most people on these rides don't have lights and no one wears helmets.....he seemed full of hubris about the lack of safety equipment. Wacky and Wild is all i have to say about that.
And after they're hit by a car that didn't see them, they can come here and complain about "cagers."
If they survive. Otherwise, all their trendy friends can have a wake and get all fatalistic and stuff over some beers...
