I'm currently running 10-speed Centaur on my crosser. The RD is actually a spare long cage that used to be on my wife's bike and is paired with a 12-25 rear cassette. I've decided that I'd probably want to go single ring up front and run a 12-32 MTB cassette if possible. So, here is the question. I'm pretty sure I have read that I can run a campy ergo 10 with a campy 10 RD with a 9 speed cassette without a shiftmate if I lock out the lower gear. Does this sound correct? I plan on running the 10-speed chain as well. Thanks for the help!
