I was digging through the old centerpull bucket of my LBS, looking for a Universal Model 61 caliper. I found one, but it it doesn't have the blue washers (at least not anymore) and it doesn't have "Mod.61" on it. I've read on CR that this is probably a newer version.
But I did find a caliper that's made almost exactly like a Universal (even has blue washers), but it has "COMET" stamped into it. Anyone familiar with Comet brakes? Is there a link to Universal? Thanks.
