Since you're having troubles with the pictures, maybe you can describe it in a little more detail. Is there any chrome on the bike? Is there a sticker that tells what kind of tubing? What kind of derailleurs does it have? Does the bike have a rear derailleur that hooks over the rear axle? What kind of brakes and brake levers? That sort of stuff can give some clues.

With Peugeots, the serial number is of nearly no use in providing either date or identification.
